Auto tranny need upgrading for a Jackson SC?

I was thinking about doing a Jackson Supercharger on my 95 SE w/ Auto tranny. I dont plan on running major boost, most likely 6lbs. Would I need to upgrade my automatic transmission in anyway?

yea u will need to upgrade the auto tranny, i think its called a torque converter or something? i forgot... read about it a couple years ago

So basicly just a a better Tourqe converter. Yeah thats what I was thinking. I heard a really stupid story about how a Jackson S/C messed up an auto tranny before. It wasnt from a very good source. But it got me thinking that it might have been true; this is why I belong to Club Integra. Thanks for the info.

yea the torque conerter supposed to give you longer rpms and better acceleration. i was reading up on this when i was planning to keep my auto civic and going turbo or sc, but after some thought... i wanted to swap to 5spd.

Torque conv. and you should be set. I dont know who makes a good 1 though. Just check around and compare 1st. Good luck man. :thumbs up
