im gettin ready to sell my rhd 91 teg and get this tranny swap done. i have all of the parts except a flywheel and tranny (pretty much why im selling the rhd). my question is the wiring. what do i do with the left over wiring for the auto tranny? what needs to go on the manual tranny? this is the only part i dont kno how to do myself...ive pulled three trannys on 3rd gens, so i kno where everything goes except the wiring.

thanx

I technically have, but not on a honda. It should be the same, just finding the right parts. I did it in a 73 cuda, little easier to work with. You doing it to you DC?

yea, 1994 bg-33p integra ls. i have so far: manual gauge cluster, all pedals, clutch lines, clutch. i was readin somethin on h-t about the swap. but it wasnt very detailed. i kno i need: tranny, flywheel, bolts for flywheel and clutch, conversion upper tranny mount, front and rear mounts, rear t-bracket, all bolts for tranny and mounts, master cylinder, slave cylinder, shift linkage, shifter, engine stifener, axles, intermediate shaft, and ecu. i think thats it. i can do everything but the wiring myself. i was gna take it to the local shop so they can do the wiring.

thanx

the only thing im scared of doing is the wiring. im not the best with wiring. it gets way too confusing. wiring my rhd 91 teg is hard enough. im thinkin about just keepin it an automatic and putting more money into the rhd cuz that will be alot more fun to drive once its finished. still dont kno if i wanna sell the rhd tho. its just a money pit.

if you or no one buys my car, then ill take the shell to the junk yard and most likely buy another da when i start co-oping and get some cash. i just dont have the money now. i want a da that runs in the first place and one that doesnt have rust. or maybe i could get a 4 door dc/db teg and do rhd on that. you dont see many rhd sedans...thats for sure

but a tranny swap for now would be great. i think i might be able to get one of the guys at a local shop to help with wiring and ill maybe give a write up on it if we can make it a sticky...

yeah man i bought a da integra about a year ago their nice the only problem was that they didi the automatic to manual conversion and when i got i finished everything i don't recomened it because it does not feel the same for some reason the clutch pedal felt funny as far as the wiring the automatic tranny has a computer it self so all you need to do is figure out wich one it is remove and thats thats what i did with mine and it ran good just felt kinda funny

well, i got the pedals out of a 01 ls so i should be ok. how do they feel funny? can you not push it in all the way? was there a hole in your firewall already for the clutch master cylinder? there was just a block off plate for mine and the holes are already there so i shouldnt have a prob with it "feeling" right. i hope not anyways

if you look at the internals of an ls ecu like mine, theres little black resistors that have letters and numbers on htem (P, R, N, D4, D3, 2, and 1). so im guessing that the auto tranny comp and ecu are laced together. thats why a manual ecu is on the list of things for the tranny swap.
