auto to manual problems

i have a 91 LS that apparently used to be automatic because it has an egr valve. so the problem im having is that the vacuum hoses seem to be all mixed up and im confused what to do with the egr and the hoses and electrical connectors that go to it. do i just leave it all there or do i take it out?

PLEASE EXCUSE THE WRITING......

on the hose connecting to the egr, should i cap off the end and remove the hose?

i was told that the input that is directly in the middle of the opening of the throttle body is supposed to run to the charcoal canister..
so far what ive decided on what the hell the charcoal canister is, is the cylinder looking part with a single red hose running to it.. can someone tell me what it is that im missing cuz there is no other input on that cylinder looking part...

i dont know if this is related to any of my other problems but there is a hose on my intake manifold that i have no idea where it goes either... somebody cut the hose and stuffed a screw in there, is that related to the auto to manual swap?

theres a couple of other discrepancies but ill have to post it tomorow cuz its too dark to take pictures... any input would be greatly appreciated

alright so i think i figured everything that was wrong with my vacuum hoses. to fx it i had to, cancel out the egr valve, cancel the hose that used to go from the intake manifold to the control box, which is now removed since my car is manual transmission. i also corrected the line that went from the pressure regulator solenoid valve to the pressure regulator, corrected the line on top of the air boost valve by connecting it to the intake, also corrected the line from the purge control solenoid valve to the charcoal canister ( i didnt realize that my purge control diaphragm was acutally broken). I connected the line from the purge diaphragm to the throttle body. i was also missing the dashpot diaphragm that connects to the intake... it took me a while to figure it out cuz i didnt realize that my car used to be automatic until i figured out what the egr valve was because i was looking on the manual transmission version in my repair manual!!! can somebody tell me if its correct, maybe this will help someone in a similar situation. thanks
