Auction Sites?

Does anybody know of a way to look up car auctions in a certain area? (NY for my case) I see that gov-auctions.org is actually a legit site from other sources and reviews, but I am not willing to pay 40 dollars for a membership when I don't know how often an integra/rsx/civic happens to be in the auction. The auctions listed on that site are free, its just that you have to pay to see them... but searching on google is a nightmare for this. Any suggestions?

from the year and make you should have a good idea of what they car looks like, and they should also have the condition of the cars too. You could try calling your local county sheriffs department (PLEASE look up the actual number and dont just dial 911) and ask them about when and where they are. Just be aware at most auctions (in my area anyways) they have $500-1000 in added taxes and registration fees that they dont tell you about or include in the price. So look that up too.
