Is turbo street legal :2confused ? I was wondering because my friend might sell me his turbo setup.

Yes they are, but what kinda turbo kit is it, b/c you may have emissions problems to deal with.

Yeah that's what i was worried about and had second thoughts about. umm i think its a stage II turbo kit i guess? im not sure.

Yup and if your boys check engine light is on you will auto fail emissions. You have to be able to pass visual and that won't. You can by pass it for about 5 miles if you pull I think fuse 13 under the hood, if you do it incognito in the parking lot you should be able to do emissions w/o it popping it back on.obd1kenobi said:yeah find out more about the turbo kit and if your friends check engine light is on!

my friend tried resetting the ECU on his dc5 right before his inspection b/c he has a race header and they told him he had to drive his car 150 more miles before he could pass. they can tell the ECU was reset 2 miles ago. He drove 147 miles and the check engine light came on. i don't think integra's do that though

If its a obd1 car then it will be easier to find some that will pass you, well so depending not where you are!

I have an obd2 car, and my boy said he never installed the turbo kit. It was just laying around, so umm should i install it now? Im getting a gsr head for 200$ (not sure if thats alot or little?) and i dunno if i should install it then or now

so i should just put the turbo on now without the gsr head? I dunno.. having second thoughts now and kinda lazy lolz. i think imma just put the gsr head on for now and leave it at that. and yeah i think its a complete gsr head, and i hope it comes with an ECU. You need a diff. ECU for the gsr head right? i dunno much about this sorry ppl. but umm yeah keep me informed ^_^
