apexi n1 help

Well just got an apexi n1 muffler old style 162-kh03 which seemed to be a catback for a gsr. and there seems to be a smaller tube inside which i don't know if its supposed to be there. (and doesn't move either way when i shake it). I'm thinking it was supposed to be in place and it moved? i was just wondering if this would affect the sound. before i put it on the car.

Its not really a major issue...some people take that out of the N1's on purpose. Be wary though, that thing is going to go from being very loud to retarded loud when you put that on.

yea, I have an N1, it's very obnoxious. I don't even want to drive it until I get a new exhaust.

yea hm i didn't know some people took that part out. well i guess we would have to see how it sounds. my friend has the newer version of the apexi n1 on his gsr. and its not loud at all. though he says its because he's missing the gasket where the catback connects to, and air is leaking.
