Apexi N1 exhaust

i am wanting to get the a'pexi n1 muffler. i already have the piping from the cat on out but i need new piping to replace where my old muffler was. so i went to a muffler shop today and told him what i wanted to do and he told me to not get bigger then a 2 inch inlet and the apexi n1 is what i want and it is a 3 1/2 inlet. im pretty sure that i have a 2 1/2 inch piping. so what should i do, do they make exspantion piping or any thing. he also told me if i get a heavy one it can reck my manifold is that completly true. thanks for tour help

if your exhuast is hanging from your exhaust hangers....? that guys is shit stupid.that makes me think he doesnt know how to hang exhaust,which also makes me think about the number of customers that came threw that shop and paid out of the ass for a service that can be reliably provided by chimps and have to go back and shell out more money because their "professionally installed" exhaust is bouncing of the road and destroying good manifolds because fuckheads dont know what exhaust hangers are.i hate those fucks.

Get the 60mm and you'll be fine.

i am wanting to get the 4 1/2 in tip cuz i like the look of a big tip and if the inlet was 3 inches because i have found a 3 inch inlet can i expand my piping a 1/2 inch and make it work

I'm pretty sure all the tips are 4.5 inches. Only the turbo mufflers are 3 inches though.
