anything wrong?

my gf was practicing on and up hill with my car.(its manual) and she was reving really high for awhile...then i noticed a very strong burning smell from the engine... did she like burn the clutch or sumthin?? theres nuthin wrong with the clutch tho im still driving it to this day and it feels koo....but im wondering what mightve happend?

she was prolly just burning your clutch if you rev it up really high and slip the clutch it usually will burn and leave a funky smell kinda like burn oatmeal and plastic its smells disgusting(sorry for my very technical references its the only thing i can think of right now)

she keep her foot on the clutch! i let my friend learn how to drive...but he kept letting his foot on the cluth, even though it was already in gear and in motion, she was prolly resting her foot on the clutch.
