Yeah its hella gay.
Idk compared to other places, i know it aint as bad as CA though.
if your ride runs good you should be fine.
and if not you get one re-test for free.

you should as long as the sensors and everything is hooked up. since its obd2 they just plug into the obd2 port, check some things and let you be on your way. it was a 5 minute affair for me.
