PLEASE NOTE: From the experience gained from IA ’07, IA ’08, IA ’09, and IA 2010, I believe it is safe to assume that these times are fairly accurate (even when dealing with heavy construction). I know that not everyone will be able to pit stop at the same mileage, so feel free to drop off when necessary. I set it with 3 checkpoints for a reason. It gives a chance for those with more thirsty engines, a chance to catch breath and keep up. Feel free to throw in ideas that are worth noting, at me. I’m up for suggestion.
//////: MECHANICAL NOTE ://////
MAKE SURE TO PERFORM ROUTINE MAINTENANCE TO YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE SETTING OFF ON THIS JOURNEY!
Accidents can happen, and being many miles from home can make things quite tricky. So best bet is to prepare for the journey as best as possible.
MATURITY NOTE: I know that this can be a long journey, but please try and maintain a more mature driving habit. Wreck-less driving is illegal and can ruin the trip for everyone. “Driving it like you stole it” is not a mentality to have on a trip like this. There’s plenty of people here who spent intense amounts of time and money on theirvehicles to have them ruined by someone trying to gain attention by showing off. Know the difference between “playful” and “idiotic”.
