Any help replacing an exterior door handle?

I have a 95 Integra thats missing the exterior passanger door handle. I have a replacement handle but im not sure how to replace it. If anyone knows a link that I could visit or could describe how to properly remove the handle assembly...thanks

I need to replace my driver side exterior door handle also and don't want to do any damage removing the broken one. If anyone has any advice please tell me!

I have removed the inside door panel and everything before, when i was trying to figure out how difficult replacing would be. And i used the link mentioned above, but was wondering if anyone has actually done this before and how much of a pain the whole thing is. thanks

I've done it just recently when I replaced my passenger door (i bought my teg with the big dent on it), I found a door with the same exact color from a dismantler and replaced it myself (saved me a couple hundred bucks). I could tell you, removing the door handle was the most challenging part of it, but it's doable with a lot of patience. The most tricky part was taking off the 2 rods shown on the pic below. Actually once you've taken off the rod that is encircled, you can pull the door handle outward a little bit and you should be able to easily work on removing the other rod. Be careful not to break that plastic lock the holds the rod, it's a little stubborn to remove it. After removing the 2 rods, you have to remove the key lock mechanism as well, then you should be able to take off the door handle and replace it with the new one.

Just follow everything from the link posted above and you should be fine. Good luck!:thumbs up

I have to replace my door too and I'm looking for how to get the darned side molding(side skirt) off to remove the fender so I can get to the damn door bolts. Then I realized I also need to change the lock mechanism.
So if ANYONE can help please message me here or at [email protected] Thank!

I have a broken passenger door handle with a new door handle chillin in the car...to lazy to do it!

Ill try this today...but ill tell you..the Integra I got it from, got sctratched and the plastic clip that holds the door opener rob got shreded..

I need to take my time with my car now lol

On my rear drivers side door(4door) my handle was like, hard too pull to open it.
Now It wont open at all from the outside.

What do I need just a new door handle or what?
sorry to jack the thread...lol

If it stopped working all together then something is jammed or badly binding.

Take off your door panel and trouble shoot. Inspect it and play with it. Maybe shoot some DW-40 and see if it sets something free.
