My antenna wont go down.. i dont know if i should try and get it fixed or buy a smaller one that wont move.. if someone would help that would be awesome thanks.

I've had
A smiliar problem.. with a huge clanking noise. It came from a rock hitting it and it's permanently bent. Mine goes up and down.. just not all the way. What I would do is maybe buy a replacement antenna.. just not the entire assembly and replace it yourself. It's pretty easy to access from the inside of your trunk.. I found that out today b/c my remote lock assembly is retarded.

The plastic portion of the interior of your trunk is only on clips. Just pull it out and replace the thing. It cost me 68 bucks today just to get the mast from ACURA... much less getting one to replace it aftermarket.
It's not that difficult to do.. I'm a GIRL... come on now.
If you want to replace it for performance.. go right on ahead.. but if you really do want it replaced.. I would def stick with the telescoping antenna.. just b/c you have the option to turn off your radio and have it go down. Again.. not that hard to do.

haha awesome im definately doing that when i get home from work! thanks a ton! im pretty excited to having a working antenny or atleast one that will go down so i can take it to the car wash once in a while instead of washing it myself!
