Antenna deletion options

My antenna motor just busted on my 96 RS, so it's always out. It's getting on my nerves. Did anyone ever tried or did deleted it and put it in the body? Can it by done or should i just get it out and put one of those small black antenas.

I'm pretty sure it can be done. I'm going to completely shave mine off when I get to that part of the body.

I'm planning to do that as well. Then I'm gonna get an internal antenna that attaches to the rear window. I hate our stock antennas! Freakin 4 feet tall, makes our cars look like giant R/C cars.

get the accord antenna delete plug, grommet and nut and your set. that way no antenne and oem covor up for it. its like the rear wiper delete plug

Shaving it out is what i wnated to do, but i want to just patch the hole and get some kind of a paint job. Think it would work?

It's getting the antena to the rear window or over the door in the body that is going to be a pain.

I don't even use the radio so I don't have that problem. lol.

Oddly enough I'm one of the few DA's in the area that the antenna still works on. haha, oh well, someone else can use it when i get to that part. Maybe put it in on my brother's...

im getting mine shved its not connceted anymore though i took out the motor. just get an antenna that goes in the window and thats it.

I'm guessing the dealership? maybe?

I'm with nexgen. I'm just going to bondo over it. lol

yea from the dealer, g2ic has the part #'s for it. . .. it fits perfect. im getting mine this weekend, ill post pics of it.
39161SF1000 - Cap
39162SF1000 - Nut
39163SF1000 - Gasket
should be no more than 10 dollars

i bought a plug at home depot for like.. 47 cents.. i'll post up a pic of it on my next photo shoot.. i believe the size is 7/8.. if i remember correctly.. its been so long ago..
