i have a 92 ls and it was driving fine. i was on the highway and running really low on fuel and barely made it to the gas station but before i got gas my oil light came on and stayed on until i put gas in my tank. the engine was running really hot and it didn't seem to have the fans running. and i think one of my serpentine belts is squeaking like a mofo. it was idleing low and had no power what so ever. it just felt like my car was having a fit. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably caused it to go into limp mode. Don't go lower than 1/4 of a tank; strains the fuel supply. Check your oil and ECU for codes. Consider resetting the ECU.

1/4 is empty on my car haha. Float's off. Best of luck. I feel like on older Honda tanks it's just best to keep it above 1/4

nope i was at the full line... i recently topped up my oil like any owner of an old honda/acura should do every 1000-1500 kms. it was weird. my car was slugish. it felt like the brakes were on when i was giving it gas. plus i don't think the rad fans were on. is that a thermostat problem? or is the whole situation a sensor issue. the car drives fine when the engine is cool.

my car used to stall when it was warm. id turn it off after a long drive.... and when i went to start it ... it started then stalled right after. i seem to have stopped it from stalling by installing a new fuel filter, and main relay. is seems like the symptoms are still there it just doesn't stall.... it idle's low and runs like crap. its no wonder i'm most likely doin a motor swap some time in the near future.... this engine has been nothing but trouble. if anyone knows what the actual solution to the (stalling when warm problem) is please lemme know...... i'm loosing my mind with this car and i'm on the verge of either ripping the car apart and rebuilding it from the ground up or selling it for scrap.

have you checked your distributer rotor for wear or burn marks on the copper?

both distributor cap and rotor are brand new and the distributor had no signs of wear and tear such as red dust or rattling.

i just took the car for a drive and it seemed to be ok... but it's nice and cool and foggy out right now. it seems like the engine gets stressed out when it gets hot... and the rad fans aren't coming on to help keep the rad/ engine cool.... do i just get a new thermostat to fix the fan issue? or is it a sensor or bad wire connection.
