i got a red and black wire that connect to the battery...i'd like to know which 1 go were...and is there a place in the firewall where these wires can go through the fire wall into the interior?

its a 91 ls.....well the wires....look really messed up....the red wire is bout the only complete wire i got....and the black wire is there but only like 5 inches long from the battery....and i got the wires that goes from the cd player to the amp.....what kind of wires would i need to go from the amp to the subs?or is the amp wires from the cd player connect to the subs too?

try the grommet for the ac lines,

The black is ur negative thats ur ground wire...that goes from your ground ( - ) on ur amp to any piece of metal in da trunk dats y its only about 5 inches long....u need ur remote wire which at times is a thin blue cable or a thin black one depends on ur amp kit....that goes from the blue wire on da back of ur radio (wiring harness ) to the amps remote wire. Thats what tells ur amp to turn on ur subs. RCA from ur radio to ur amp ( red wit red and white obviously wit white lol )...thats about it other den properly connecting ur sub....u can use regular speaker wire. its not a big deal trust me i learned on my own wit some guidance but its very simple...there should be no reason y u shouldnt be able to connect it urself...i think ppl dat pay others to do it is a waste of money. follow these instructions and u'll be fine hommie
