The most likely source is a poor ground connection for the amp. Can you take a pic of your ground, or tell us where you put it?
It also could be noise coming in from the RCA cables. Did you run them to the back of the car next to your power wire? Power and signal should be sent to the back on opposite sides of the car.

:werd: I ran RCAs on one side, and power and remote on the other. I never had any problems with feedback. That is most likely your problem.

yea they are ran through together. the amp is under passenger seat. i ran the remote, power, and RCA cables along the side of the car by the door sill under the carpet, then to the amp. is it ok to run the RCA cables down the center under the console pieces and then to the amp? or is that still too close to the power wire? thanks guys for the information. this is my first time with amps. ill try tomorrow and see what happens.

yup, that sound usually means you have a bad ground, make sure where ever you ground it, its pure metal, meaning no paint on the surface you're grounding it. and like omni said, you should always keep the power cable and rca wires seperate, running the rca's down the middle is fine, thats what i did.
