alternator pivot bolt

So I'm trying to do something as simple as change the belt, its turning into an ordeal, my book tells me nothing, points in a random direction, I have the top locknut off, but I can't seem to find the pivot, is it at the bottom of the alternator? I can't find anything online,

yeah its right under it. theres a bracket that holds the alternator. all you do is loosen that and make sure to not lose the nut thats on the other side. then you just pull it back to loosen the belt. hope this helps man
