alternator from 3rd gen

My alternator went out a day ago and i noticed this morning when my battery finally died this morning while i was driving -.- .
Does anyone know if the DC2 or DC1 alternator will fit or work on a DA?
im asking cause i know where an abandoned DC1 is near my house so it would be most convenient to get the alternator from there.

From memory I dont believe it fits, I think we are limited to certain sized alternators due to the limited space behind the alternator.
Thats just my experience, somebody else may have something else to say.

90-95 B series will work if your obd1. If your obd2 then you need one from a 96-01, they changed the plugs. obd0-1 has circle plug, obd2 has square
