The only MOD around here that I've seen delete some threads is that TODD guy.

it could have been the server itself. i know my old thread was deleted because of "pruning". the server deleted threads that havent been active in a long time. saves bandwidth. and the ones that needs to be saved, are archived

yea thats prolly your answer, cuz i havent seen your thread that you speak of in a long time, usually the mod would send you a PM if he deletes your thread
