Alarm problems

So I've had problems with my alarm the past 2days. It keeps going off when nothing is around. I know there are different modes which can be changed via the key fob.

I do not know what brand it is. I'm looking for general codes to change the modes. For example If it is in "silent" mode I open the door and hit lock unlock lock, or something along those lines. I'm under the impression it is in a sensitive mode where anything will trip it. Does anyone know generic key fob codes to change the mode on the alarm?

Thanks

yea sorry i dont know that brand. i only deal with dei products at my shop. if u find the module thats up under ur dash and pull it down u can most likely get the name and the model number and u can look up a manual and it should tell u why its doing that or whats wrong with it

I didnt think of resetting it by pulling the power cord. I think I will do that in the morning Jim, thanks for that idea.

I figure I could just stick my head into the spaghetti and look for a # on the brain. I was just wondering if anyone knows an alarm with a similar set up to changing the settings as mine. (open door and certain combination of lock/unlock buttons).

If the reset doesnt work, Ill get the # off the alarm and google it/publish my findings. Thanks guys.
