Alarm install

My name is Ben
So i just got my clifford alarm and i was wondering if anyone on here has installed their own alarm? if so please let me know if it was hard or not. All the wires are very intimidating but im up for a challenge just let me know if i should just take it somewhere instead! THANKS :D

well if you take it elsewhere at least you should have warranty on the work.
the hardest part will actually be doing a clean installation.

besides that do you have a multimeter?

12volt - white at ign harness
starter- black /white at ign harness
ignition- black/yellow at ign harness
lock- black/white - trigger in driver kick panel
unlock- black/red - trigger in driver kick panel
parking lights- green/yellow - trigger at green plug above fusebox
door trigger- lt green/red -trigger in driver kick

its not to bad i just put a 2 way syatem in my teg but i also been doing this for years now lol

Whats the difference between one way and two way and stuffs

One-Way are your run of the mill alarms. Remote has a few buttons, when someone brakes into your car the horn will sound.

Two-ways work the same but notifiy the user of an security breach. The remotes usually come with a LCD display of a car and when you car doors are broken into and opened, the car horn will sound and also the remote will sound notifiying the user of someone breaking into there car.

Two way is better if ya wanna know what's going on with your car. Haha. Mine shows a lil hammer hitting the car when the alarm goes off. Lol

When my dads yukon was broken into we weren't even a hundred yards from it, and it was in the daytime at a baseball game. We didn't even know it happened until we saw the window smashed and everything gone. A two way alarm wouldve saved us. Yah mean?

for sure! maybe i'll get one i would have to look for prices cause i just spent $80 on this one which was a sweet deal! but i'll look into them
