Air never stops blowing from A/C

OK, I've looked through the user manual thinking there might be an explanation for this but didn't read anything.

Even with my A/C turned off cold air still blasts through the vents, I was wondering if this is normal because the speed of the air depends on the speed I am going, the higher the speed the more air that comes out. Well I don't need the A/C on all the time so I just want to know how to get it to stop.

Oh and if this is a problem with the A/C, any suggestions on fixing? Unless of course the only thing to fix it is to replace the compressor or something...

might be the relays in front under the top of the bumper near the a/c compressor, my car is so low that when i go over a large pool of water during rain these relays would get soaked and short where the blower would stay on after i shut off my car, good luck

thats right.
push the inside air circulation button on (if it already isnt) and see if it makes a difference.
if ur air circulation button is off, air automatically comes thru the vents

button looks KINDA like this btw if u dont know. it should light up orange if it is on

Real Good!
with it off there is some air that comes thru mine too, but not too much and usually is either cold if its in the A/C mode or the heater mode. i just close the vents :)

ok lol thats the integra for you.
its been discussed on TI by almost every member.

the integra has a low pressure area over the hood when driving.
the air gets pushed into the covl vents and through your heaters.

its normal.
you can push the above mentioned button to close the outside air from coming in.

I just wanted to know if it's normal really, like I said I read the manual and read nothing about it. Yeah I've been closing the vents.

Yes its normal. The vents dont really close all of the way and some air seeps through. Re-circ with the blower off will prevent what you are experiencing.
