Air/Fuel Gauge wiring question

Hey C I members.. Got a question for you. Right now I'm swapping my engine with a B18c3 and while im working on swapping the engine, I am working on doing some cleaning up and wiring. I bought a 3 gauge pillar pod with Air/Fuel, Boost/Vac, and Voltage meters off of a C I member, but it was used, so there wasnt any instructions. I've already got the Boost/Vac and Voltage meters wired up properly, but I am having some trouble with the Air/Fuel gauge. I had it all wired up the way I thought it was supposed to be wired ( i just connected the Red and Brown red together to (12v+) and the two black wires to a (-) and ran the blue wire to the O2 sensor. But for some reason i think that that isnt the way to run it because while im driving, the gauge will just bounce from lean to rich and sometimes even just completely roll off of the gauge. If anyone has installed one of these gauges before, then it would be a great help if you could let me know. I've included some pictures of the gauge and the wiring in case you guys are wondering what it looks like exactly.

Well man like they say you get what you pay for. They call those peertty light shows wher i'm from lol. Personally i'd return it and save yo chips for a real air fuel ratio gauge, like one that comes with a new o2 sensor . Like one of them aem uego's, innovative and i think even msd makes one too. Also what kind of engine management you runnin? hondata and innovative seem to work good together i hear , thats the route i'm goin . But with that gauge your not really gonna beable to do much tuning with it cause it ain't a reliable consistant reading. hope this helps, sorry if what your readin ain't what you wanna hear but hey i bought one too a while back an auto meter phantom a/f gauge , and i got sooo much $hit for it , so beleive me i've been there so don't feel bad. Anyways good luck sorry it ain't really helpin you with yo question .

good luck
