Air Conditioning Malfunction

I noticed on Friday, that my car was not blowing out cold air when I had the A/C on. I tried it again the next day and I hear this grinding noise while I was driving and I only hear it when I push the A/C button to "ON". I check the freon and there was plenty. I put the gauge on and the needle read in the RED. Could this be my compressor. Any advice would be appreciated.

Your compressor could be seized up. Or a restriction in the line somewhere.

just get rid of it you dont need it. it only slows you down and weighs the car down. that what i did. lol
