aftermarket exhaust leak?

I was hoping someone might can help me out a little, i just installed a tanabe exhaust on my 1990 integra and noticed not alot of exhaust was coming out the tail pipe i ran my hand under the car and felt it coming out of a seal i tried tightening it more it made it a little better but really didnt fix it and it wont tighten anymore. I was wondering if i might have put the gasket on backward they didnt look double sided they were flat on one end and kind of rounded on the other but before i hop back under my car i was wondering if it could be something else?

I would try the gasket the other way just to see if thats the issue

You can put the flat gaskets on either way. The gasket may have a tear in it. Which gasket in particular is leaking?

its the one in between the 1st and 2nd pipe i dont think the gasket has a tear it looks pretty solid i think im going to get back under my car here in a little while and unbolt it check things out in between the two pipes and see if i might of done somthing wrong i think its possible when i hooked it up to much weight could have been on the pipe and caused a improper seal maybe.
