after market steering wheel install

hey i bought a new steering wheel and hub kit for my 92 teg i have the stock wheel off buy need help with getting the new wheel on dosent seem like its fitting correctly think maybe im missing a step somewhere thanks

it should fit but if its not aligning at all even if its 5-10 degrees off its because the hub is not made correctly

well is fits on the shaft but it sticks out super far what all stock stuff has to come off the steering column just the steering wheel or is there more that has to come off also not sure if im putting it togather right because there were absoultely no instructions with the kit what so ever
