After Market Front Bumper

New to the forum, hi everyone.

I have a 1994 LS in need of some cosmetic work. This car is strictly a weekend car and for errands during the week, it has a 140K+ miles on it. I just want to make it look and drive a little better.

I am looking for a used OEM front bumper but they seem hard to find and pricey. Who are the best manufacturers of OEM style or other clean looking aftermarket bumper covers? Urethane would be preferred but I would consider fiberglass if it was much cheaper. I am definitely not looking for a racey body kit, this car is not worth much and I just want to make it a little more liveable and less of an eye sore.

Thanks for the help.

Aftermarket OEM style bumper, probably not the best fit/finish though.

After I posted I spent about 2 hours trying to find OEM replacement bumper covers and the bumper cover valance. I found, what looks like the same thing, for pretty much the same price on a couple of parts websites, including ebay. Actually found it for $83 shipped on ebay.

So you don't think the fit and finish of these parts will be anygood?

If it takes a ton of work to get it to fit and it doesn't line up good and looks like crap, where is the best place to get an OEM replacement bumper? Even if the cost is higher.

Yeah I saw that same part on a couple other websites also. I don't think the finish on that particular bumper cover will be too bad, I mean you can pay the $83 and get it primered, or pay $70 and get it bare. But I do believe that the fitment will be off. There was another member on this site, I don't remember who, that purchased an aftermarket bumper cover replacement, and it looked like crap.

I think the best place to get a replacement OEM bumper is the dealership to be honest, or an OEM parts site such as www.acuraoemparts.com but I almost want to say that including shipping and everything it would be close to the price of just getting it from your local dealer. About $250 not including shipping..

You want quality. Not cheap parts that may fit...may not. OEM fitment, guarenteed to fit like a glove!

Is your bumper damaged? You could always check out the local junkyard for one. It would need some tlc though.

Our junkyards suck. The Integra's are already raped by the time I get there and there's no parts salvagable but it's definitely worth the trouble. The junk yard may remove the bumper before putting the car out in the yard...

some junk yards have those places that specialize in acura/honda parts. we have them here in sac where you can go in ask for a part and they get it for you.
