AEM CAI...Confused.

the 93 integra I just bought has the AEM CAI intake on it.
There are two little holes near where it mounts to the throttle body that are sitting there open and unused.

Do I need to plug these unused holes by covering and clamping them?
My co-worker who races said that having those two holes leaking air is throwing off my sensors?
I've got the valve cover tube running to the nipple on the intake tube..so I know that's on right according to the guides I've seen.

Also, what size filter should be on the end of the pipe?
Apparently when they threw this car together to sell it to me, they put on a filter that is wider/bigger than the AEM CAI tube....

Thanks,

Rats...
apparently It is missing some parts, according to the manufacturer install guide.

Code:
Included in the kit are two rubber grommets, two straight connectors and one rubber bumper. Some vehicles
need to use both grommets and some only need one.
1. Both automatic and manual transmission models have a throttle valve dashpot control diaphragm.
There is a vacuum line that goes between air inlet tube and the throttle valve dashpot control valve
diaphragm. During the installation of the AEM® intake system this vacuum line needs to be
reconnected to the inlet pipe. Install a rubber grommet into the exposed hole in the inlet pipe and insert
a straight connector through the grommet. Install vacuum line over the straight connector.
2. Automatic models have a starting air valve. The starting air valve has a vacuum line that runs from it to
the air inlet tube. During the installation of the AEM® intake system this vacuum line needs to be
reconnected to the inlet pipe. Install a rubber grommet into the exposed hole in the inlet pipe and insert
a straight connector through the grommet. Install vacuum line over the straight connector.
3. If your vehicle does not have the throttle valve dashpot or the starting air valve install the rubber
bumper into the exposed hole.
:???:
anyone know where I can get the missing rubber "bumper"?
Or is there a hose that's supposed to be plugged into one of those open holes. According to the directions there's a " throttle valve dashpot control diaphragm" that I should be routing a vacuum hose from to one of the open holes in the intake tube.

Okay...here's what I found concerning the "Throttle Valve Dashpot Control Diaphragm" (say that 5 times fast!!)

" The throttle valve dashpot is employed to slow the closing of the throttle valve when it is suddenly closed during gear shift or deceleration"
Thats from the helms manual.

I don't have mine attached anymore. I blocked it off when I got my intake from Honda, and they told me just to block it off, then when I got my strut brace from "Beyond" they told me just to remove it (which I'd done anyway because it wasn't doing anything. When I stop at traffic lights or whatever the revs drop down to just below idle and come back up again, but that's not a problem to me.
Does anyone know where this thing is so I can block mine off too while I'm sealing up the holes in the intake?

EDIT: NVM, apparently it's usually attached to the TB. I just checked mine and it's not there. Neither is the vacuum line.
