Acura Letters

hey hows it goin, I wanna take off the acura letters on the top left side of the rear end of my gsr. How do you guys reccomend I do this? Ive done it before with a hair dryer but do you guys have any better techniques? Thanks

I've done both floss and credit card method. Credit card is a lot faster, but you're more prone to putting small nicks in the paint if you angle it improperly. Floss is more time consuming, but you won't end up scratching the paint.

Keep in mind, once you get the letters off, you will have two small holes showing from where the letters snap into the hatch/trunk.

I got mine shaved when i put my itr rear wing on. they will have to respray the hatch.

so there is two holes? I thought there was only holes when you take off them emblem and vtec logo

there's holes behind every badge/emblem. But the VTEC one.

how much does it cost to shave the emblems?

Afew hundred, Depending on the place you go to... They have to weld in the holes and paint over the entire trunk lid... So $500+

why not take off the acura emblem and put a nice jdm one on there that says honda the emblem cost $20 on ebay or passwordjdm.com or kingmotorsports.com etc and it will be alot cheaper and nicer in the long run
