Acura Cd Player Wont Turn On

ok so i bought this stock 01 cd player guy had it in his car before i bought it and it worked i plugged it in mine and it wont turn on or work i put a stock tape deck and it works any ideas what it could be i checked all the fuses nothing is blown ?????

I had a similar problem with my 97 integra cd played i bought.. I just unplugged my battery and cd player for about 5 mins and then reconnected everything and the redlight flashed on and off like its supposed to.. Turned the ignition on, entered the code, and has worked since. I dunno?

check the fuse... do the interior lights turn on?

lol i like when people give advice without even reading the question completely...
do you have a voltmeter or testlight?
check the voltage
wiggle something lol beat it drop it on the ground few times curse at it. u know like a wild horse gotta get it used to new car and sho whos the daddy
we need more info man
does it make any noise at all when u plug it in? push the eject button the factory units still eject cds with the ignition on even when the power is off
try someone else's car

i meant the model,integra is not the only one with stock cd player.
might have been the reason why he sold it ot u cuz it was faulty

u still check the voltage in your car to make sure its gettin enough
try touching the stereo chasis to the car ground
i donno
any pictures?
