ok is serpentine belt the same as the timing belt????

i think serpentine belt means that it twists and wraps around and curls like a serpent. i dont feel like looking up the definition of "serpentine."

Yeah I think a serpentine belt is one single belt that wraps all around a bunch of separate pullies, like you see on older cars. Instead of all that, we have 3 separate belts on our cars.
