ABS (ALB) question (a long one)

Hello

First time poster with an ABS question. Sorry about the length but its easier to tell you what I already know.
91 Integra with the ABS light on. When the car starts the light goes on then off as expected. At about 5 miles an hour the light goes back on. I'm thinking this is easy because I replaced 2 rear sensors last year due to the same issue . The problem was diagnosed by the LED trouble code.

Here's the twist, this time no ABS code is displayed (no led blinks at all). I put a meter on the sensors and the left front came up 300 ohms, I replaced the sensor (770 ohms) and thought I had it. Not even close.
Same symptoms.

Here's my first few questions
Why doesn't the code blink on the ABS controller???
Is it possible to get the ABS light on the dash to blink the code?.

Any help is deeply appreciated, its my kids car. He drives it, I get to fix it and buy gas.

First reading your question I also thought it was the ABS magnetic pulse generator sensor's resistance was out of spec and that could have caused it. My friends DA is doing the same thing, but his was an issue of the sensor gear teeth (behind the both front rotors) being chipped and damaged. This would cause the ABS to have a bad reading of vehicle movement thus disabling the ABS. There are to many factors that could cause and ABS to disable itself. One bad sensor or compnent goes out the whole system doesn't work. You cannot depend on codes to simply tell you the problem.

its possible its the controller since you cant get a code out of it. im not sure on this one.

The sensor teeth on the left front don't look that great. Is there a way to replace the ring without changing the axle. (No, seems to be the obvious answer).

Here's more questions as promised

How about a way to get a voltage reading off the sensor while the tires are spinning.

If the ABS light goes on then off, would that lead me to believe the controller is OK?

Could the controller led light be burned out and how about the idea of getting the ABS dash light to blink the codes

Thanks to all

i looked it up on my mitchell and it says the LED is the only way to get codes, but it also says to use a special tester from acura. i know on my DC i read the dash light. hum, check all your fuses and swap out the relays first
