A question

OK, im new to this whole customizing my Integra :shock:. I have a 1999 Acura Integra GS, and im looking to add some engine mods, and such. So heres my question, when im looking for parts would i be able to buy parts for a GSR, or would a :S work.

SOME gsr parts would fit, but not everything. Mostly bottom end stuff would be fine (i.e. header, and so on). I would try and stick mostly to stuff listd for the B18B though if you are unsure. What specificly are you looking at?

Hey, welcome to CI. I'm Justin.

Best thing you can do is research for parts specifically for your particular model. Guarantees that everything you buy fits your car with no problems. Last thing you'll ever want to do is spend in ups of $100 on something and it not even fit. Restocking/shipping fees pretty much screw you out of getting your money back...so your stuck with worthless parts.

There are alot of good guides on the net as to what parts are more or less universal for certain year/model Tegs. Certain exhausts will all bolt up to particular years, etc, etc. You should not only browse around here, but on Honda-Tech and Team-Integra. Lots of years of valuable information contributed to those sites.

Best thing you can do right now is get some pics up so we can see the whip!

Intake, Header, exhaust
some suspension work
set of good rubber

Can't go wrong with starting off with I/H/E. However, I think Integras that are stock height with aftermarket exhausts look stupid. I would drop before gettig an exhaust. That's just my two cents.
