A/F gauge wont work

my car came with an air fuel gauge in it already and i dont know if the guy wired it wrong or what but the gauge dosent work it gets power but dosent read right. I looked at my ecu n theres just some random wire laying on the ground next to it and i thought maybe that was for the gauge and had to be taped into one of the wires on the ecu.

Is it possbile for this wire to be for the air fuel gauge and if so what color wire would it go to on the stock ls ecu?

If you dont have a wideband 02 sensor for tuning, the gauge will work but it wont tell you anything

they work, but they aren't as accurate and precise is a wideband. its still better than nothing! it wires into the rear o2 sensor to take the reading, it may not be wired to it correctly. all it really needs to hook up is power, ground, switched power, and the o2 reading.

Purple wire goes 2 the 02sensor in the header.connect that to the white wire from the 02sensor n the rest r pwr n grd

yeah, egt is more acurate. airfuel guages are crap
