Alright guys I have put my car back together working 90%, I live florida so it gets pretty freaking hot!
Wanted to get some help on the a/c side since its not working,
So I I turned on the car put freon in with the a/c on to fill up the system problem is that it still blows hot, condser fan turns on but nothing from the compressor.
So can anyone shed any light if it is the compressor or something else?

Typically I the compressor is able to be turned its "usually" not the problem. I'm not too AC savvy in cars but if there is an expansion valve in these systems like home units that could be the problem but I really don't know all to much. But being that the compressor shaft is moving chances are that it's still functioning, did you vacuum out the system to ensure there's no air in the charge lines?

No I haven't tried that yet, didn't really think of doing that, do you have to go to a shop to do that or can it be a diy?

Unless you have a vacuum drop ffor
AC then you'd new to go to a shop. It should only cost 60-70 bucks. But yes the AC system will never run with air in the lines because the refrigerant when mixed with air it will not cool. So that's the issue

Rent the AC vacuum and manifold gauges from autozone.

1. Drain your lines.

2. Vacuum your lines. Connect manifold gauges to hi and low port and make sure the gauges are open. Connect the gauge to the vacuum and vacuum it for 30-60 minutes.

3. Add freon.

Take a wire or paperclip and stick in the female side of compressor plug that connects to the compressor. Make sure the AC is on and its on high. The clutch should engage. If it don't then you have a bad clutch

Just remember. Its gonna be easier to buy a used compressor instead of changing the clutch
