A/C Clutch not cycling

My A/C clutch engages just fine when I turn on my A/C and disengages when I turn the A/C off. It just always runs while the a/c is on. I dont want my evaporator to freeze up. My question is if the evaporator thermostat might be the culprit. I am pretty sure it is the problem but i was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what the PROPER fix was. I know it is not the refrigerant level, I know it is not the clutch relay, I know it is not the timer, and I know it is not the ECU. So if you have any other answers besides those I would love to here them. Thanks

its all relative to how hot it is outside and how hot the air your trying to cool it. I have never seen an automotive evap freeze up. The clutch usually cycles to control the evap temp but if theres alot of load on the system it may stay engaged.
