A/C Causing Bouncy Idle

hey, need some help. few weeks ago i put in a new a/c condenser and the a/c works great, real cold. but now i am getting a weird bouncy idle when i have to stop. the idle is real jumpy and the car seems like it will die, but never does.
the idle continues for about 10 min after i turn the a/c off, then disappears. if i dont use the a/c my teg idles fine. i will check for vacuum leaks but any other ideas? thanks

My idle used to fluxuate when my AC was on too. But I hated using AC so I never really cared..

Wish I could help though sorry, someone else will be able to.

AC's have a clutch, the AC will cycle on and off. Every time it cycles on the car will drop slightly in revs, and obviously when it goes off it will rise. Most cars will compensate for this by raising idle while AC is on to make it less noticeable. Sounds normal, but then again, im not there with your car so cant say for sure

this may be wrong, but since you turn it on when you start, your car isnt warmed up including condenser. Normaly when the ac is on it sucks up more gas when you idle so your idle is lower. since yours fluctuates i think its due to the fact that your car isnt warmed up at all and is using alot of gas to warm up everything. i recomend using the ac after the car idles around 800rpms
