99 civic cpe lowering springs on 94 gsr??

So a friend of mine has an extra set of Sportline lowering`springs for his 99 coupe and i have a 94 GSR.. Does anybody know if i can use these springs.. I dont mind buying a set but if this will work i figured itll save me at least a buck.. I can use that to get my motor mounts.. Could someone please educate me!!!!![/SIZE][/SIZE][/SIZE][/SIZE]

I say just save up and get some springs that are specifically made for the DC2. Better safe than sorry right?

That is weird, unless I was mistaken my sportlines had the same PN as the civic, I do understand that realisticaly it would be sorta stupid if they made the same rate for two different cars in size and weight.

Well like i said if it will work just fine i dont mind...The thing is i got parts just sitting waiting to put on, but i hate the look of a set up car at stock height, hate it..

my entire suspension setup came off my friends wrecked 94 ex coupe ... sportlines on tokico blues ... rides great

the h&r sport springs i had before came off a civic too .... and the guy i bought em from had em on his type r

They are the same design so they are interchangeable but they are NOT the same. The part numbers, drop and I would imagine the spring rates are different as well. The sportlines for an EK are a 1.8 drop while the EK Si is a 1.6 drop. The G3 Teg suspension is a 1.7" drop
