98 GS-R Maint Reqd.

Ok, so just recently my 98 GS-R Maint Reqd light came on, at first it would flash before startup, but now it's always on when i'm driving.
I dun have the owners manual so what's it mean?
I know it's not oil i change that religiously lol, so what is it?
And ideas would help

This question has been asked ten million times. Use the SEARCH bar at the top of the page before you make a new thread. But to answer your question, there's a button under the dash on the drivers side, hold the button in until the light goes out.

I don't want to get rid of the light, i'd sort of like to know what it means so i can fix something before it breaks...

its reminding you to change oil. thats it..

to turn it off, hold the button under the drivers side dash, turn car to ON position (dont start), keep holding till it goes off.
