97 Taillight Question

On the 94-01 Integra's, is the turn signal on the taillight painted amber or is it actual amber plastic? My friend is looking into doing a DIY for the clear turn signal but didn't know if it was actual amber plastic or not. Also, if it is amber plastic, Does anybody know how to get the clear turn signals? Is there a website for them or what not? Thanks,

The tail lights are all plastic. The closest thing to what your friend is looking for is the UKDM tail lights. Here's a pic.

no, they make egay specials like the UKDM ones. they are the exact same, but the pink where the UKDM ones are, are crystal clear.
