95' gsr

Im currently driving a 1992 Civic Hatch with a 98' USDM GSR swap. The motor has about 50k miles and runs perfectly. The civic however doesnt have any power options. :( It's been my life for the last 2 years but i think we all have to grow up eventually. It's been tuned over and over with various basemaps with HondataS200 and has all the usual bolt ons for an all motor setup. The reason i registered here and made this thread is because im considering buying a 1995 Integra GSR. A friend from highschool has one that is in nearly MINT condition. It is so clean you won't believe it and the motor has 118,000 miles. Only mods i know of are Eibach springs and an exhaust system. The price hasnt been worked out but i dont think ill give him more then $4,000 for it. Im just asking though... what do you guys think? Solid investment? i would have to sell my hatch soon after though. could i get some pros and cons from you guys?

Tough one.

I think you may get some biased opinions just because you're on an Integra site. Change is sometimes good, but on the other hand, you're used to your Civic. You know everything about it, everthing that is wrong, etc, etc. The Integra has 118k miles of use where you don't know how it was taken care of (Not saying the car is abused, that's just what I think of when getting a used car).

In the end it does matter to you. What you want to do because you're the one that will have to live with your decision either way. Honestly, I'd probably get the Integra. And why you must ask? Because Integra's are pimp!

you could always put power options in your hatch... IMO that car is awesome. You know you'd miss it if you went to a different car.

after i totaled my first DA i thought civic all the way, but when the time came down to it I loved me 2nd gens so much... I couldn't go to anything different! lol

New and fresh.
i'd keep the civic... so much more done to the civic than the integra, get a full interior from an integra and add all that power stuff...

Looks like a sweet civic. Sometimes I wish I had gotten a swapped civic, or swapped one...But I am an integra nut, I'd say keep the civic. As aforementioned, you know that car inside and out, and besides, power options aren't all their cracked up to be? My integra was the first car I've ever owned (chevelle, 5.0, miata, 240, f250=stfu) that has power stuff, now that I am used to it I like it...but I never really cared about it with my other cars until I got used to it on a daily driver. You can always swap on the power sutff too...also as aforementioned.

I'd definitely throw some integra cloth seats in there tho

BUT on the flipside, your used to the civic, and the integra is something totally new and you can do alot to. Change can be good sometimes

I would'nt get rid of that Civic man! It's put together nicely and like g3 said you know the in's and out's of the car. I would continue building your car, there's still so much you can do! Good luck with whatever you decide.:)
