94 ls Catback vs Axleback?

I have a 94 ls and am looking into my first modification. I'm debating between these 2 products:

Are n-1 parts good?

Sorry to thread jack.....but wouldn't a header add to that modification or just doing bolt on not productive? I ask because I know Muckman is great about going into detail about why or how stuff works.

Header yes. But the biggest restriction in the exhaust system is always going to be the catalytic converter. You wont see big gains until you upgrade to high flow cat (or delete it).

Yes or run it straight pipe (no cat) or with a "test pipe" also bigger piping size helps too.
