94 ls automatic slow!!!! Need help!!!

I have a 94 ls auto and it is unbearably slow!! What are some cost effective upgrades to make it quicker?

tightening your throttle cable if it's loose so you don't have to floor it to accelerate

All autos are slow.....so 5 speed swap or deal with a slow teg. I sold my auto for a 5 speed sohc civic and it will outrun my teg
