Hey guys and gals i am new to the fourm but not new to hondas i curently drive a 06 honda civic si with the k20z3 engine very nice and pepy and it has a warranty so i decided i wanted some thing to tinker with..lol... I just traded my other car a 01 lexus is300 for my new toy a 94 acura integra with a jdm type r motor with new ls pistons for a little lower compression and a gsr tranny (5th gear grinds little). Only running 10lbs of boost for now but may up it little later with a good tune... There are some things on the car that need work but for the most part everything is good and strong. I will let the pics speak for them self's but will post little more info and pics later... One of the things i realy need to fix is intercooler pipe hanging to low...

What's the engine code on that... I see the b18c but can't tell if there's anything behind that "C"

Not a bad deal but I love IS they're beautiful.... As for the teg it's a nice find just hope you didn't pick up someone's problems..... Also IMO I'd go with upgraded pistons as you are turboed and plan to possibly upgrade

nothing wrong with an EBay turbo if you set it up right had a friend in my home town who boosted a 4dr civic sedan had 322hp and 260tq i think it was on an ebay turbo (of course he had name brand everything else except the headgasket never did want to upgrade that lol) he drove the car for 8 months a few times a week and DD it some as well had 3 boost settings 8 18 and 28 lol

i also have another turbo that is in very good condition but will run this one for awhile tell im rdy to change to the bigger one...if i do..? how can u tell its a ebay turbo even? well it runs nice and strong so if so it must be good enough... and gets into boost quiet fast aswell...and the car came with all the parts to put it back to n/a to help pass emissions in colorado where im moving in a couple months... the turbo does have alittle shaft movment but the extra one he gave me is nice and tight so may change instead of rebuilding it...

i do have some questions if anyone can answer some things for me...

1-my pvc is open should i be running a catch can?

2-i have a manual boost controller that came with car not installed. does it let me lower the boost from 10 or will it only let me raise it up little more?... i was told the wastegate has a 10lb spring..?

3-is that the best place for the feed line for the turbo?

4- if i swap the turbos i will have to retune it right? if i send this one out to get rebuilt when its rdy for it i can use the same tune as nothing has changed right?

5- as im moving to colorado in a couple months should i worry about driving 2k miles with jumping elevation 5k i just dont want to be driving there and have something blow.... prob a good idea to get a wideband gaugeso i can tell if its running lean right?

1 yes
2 you can only raise the boost
3 mine is done from a sandwich plate adapter works fine
4 retune depends if the turbo is different size wise
5 I don't know , and yes I would buy a wideband helps a ton
