'94 Integra Problem. I'm new please help

I just bought my Integra LS on Saturday, I'm so happy cause I always wanted one

The B18:

When I turn it on it makes this noise like if something is hitting, I not sure what it might be. So if anyone might have an idea or has had this problem please let me know what it is.

It's a hitting sound that it makes, on the video it doesn't really sound like it does on person.

UPDATE 9-25-09
Well I started to get the head off and when we were taking the spark plugs


WE BUMPED INTO A BAD PROBLEM


IT WAS DRIPPING OUT


ONE WAS EVEN BROKEN

omg..never start the engine again. That sounds like rod know, but it could be a wrist pin. Pull your pan off, check for shavings, pull the rod caps off and inspect your bearings. Replace them, and the rod bolts if your crank isnt damaged.

I decided that I want to do a motor swap.
I was thinking of getting a H22A DOHC VTEC or just go with another B18 but with a VTEC Head.
What would be good to put in?

Well-Known Member
H22 will be more expensive to put in, but will yeild more stock power. The b18 will be more or less a drop in, with the need of a new ecu and cluster.

Yea my cousing was telling me just to go with a B18 and all I needed was the ecu for the VTEC head.
I think i'm gonna end up going with a B18 since everyone saying is better
what's a good cheap motor i can put in while i save up for a b18?
