94 GSR RPM Jumping and Dying

i just traded a 97 EK with GSR swap for a 94 Teg with GSR already in it. during the trade the guy wanted to switch ECU's for some reason, im running a P05 in my new 94 teg, this ecu came out of my old EK, now when i start up the car, the rpm fluctuate from 300-1000 then slowly start to steady once i let it warm up.

the biggest issue tho is when im at driving speed (40-50mph), i'll take it out of 4th, pop it in neutral and BAM, rmps go to 0 and car dies while rolling.

im assuming this has to do with the ECU since its not the correct one, i need a vtec manual ecu.

any help would be appreciated cuz this is an annoying problem.

Thanks

if you have a lightened flywheel and the iacv duty cyle isnt up enough, that can cause the car to die when you put it in neutral and let the rpms fall

I had the same problem with my EG gsr swap due to the Idle air control valve....and minor cleaning of the fast idle
