93 teg head unit install

I just bought the car yesterday and i started to put my system in it, Well I went to the audio store I always go to and bought a dash kit and let me tell you it sucked. It didnt fit right, i broke it trying to make it fit and it does not hold the head unit at all. What brand is the best for our cars and where did you get it. Sorry i am kinda pissed right now.

i used the metra 99-7890 and the kit is crap, I just looked around and found the metra 99-7898, is this a good kit?

I have that very kit in my 95, it fits fine. I've never put a radio in a 2nd Gen though, sorry it didn't work out cuz Metra is considered the #1 kit brand out there.
Walmart sells Scosche, they tend to make more "universal" kits and harnesses, which will fit into alot more cars but typically don't fit as nicely as a more model specific kit like Metra makes. I'd ask some G2 guys what kit they used and if they're happy with it.
