93' Integra LS - JDM GSR- Spec / Help

Hey All,

I'm new to the board, but basically I recently sold my 98' Toyota 4Runner thank god. (I know don't laugh at me Toyota blows, but honestly it had 155,000 Miles on it, and I never had any problems and it was great on the beach.)

Now that it is gone I have purchased a 93' Integra LS w/ JDM GSR Swap. I don't know to much about tuners, seeing that I have never owned one, so I'm about to start my long learning experience. I need to grasp the basics. I am the type of person that once I learn something I wont forget it, and I have a few mechanics helping me out while building on to this.

I know that the exhaust is done, suspension is done, has cold air, etc. I'm not sure what is done to the engine, and I have about $1,000 to spend currently. What advice do you guys have to start with on the engine as for building the engine up. I wanna eventually turbo the car, but I want the engine completely ready to handle that. I don't plan on driving this car much until I have it where I want it, so I have time. I'm driving my jeep in the mean time, so this is more of a project that I am starting. I want to keep it all street legal, but have it fast at the same time. I'm not worried about cosmetic at all, but I wanna start with the engine. I'll report back in about 2 days with the exact specs of the engine after I speak with the guy and look over all his receipts.

Also, what are some good websites to purchase parts from, and what brands would I want. Also the body is a 93, but I'm not sure the engine. I know it has been swapped, but I'm not sure from where or what.

Not a problem man. I'll head over to where its currently at. Not sure about your guys areas, but people flatbed alot around here, and the alarm is not working correctly. We all ready installed a kill switch, but that won't stop them from flat bedding it so right now its lifted on the rear, and blocked in.

If I have time to head over to where I have it parked, I will take some pictures today and upload them when i have a chance. I just want to know what I can do with it though. I have the JDM GSR motor in it, but what all can I do to it?

On the front of your motor on the head will be some numbers... My JDM Sir-G (aka JDM Gs-R) has 9/6 indicating its a 1996... I believe the numbers that tell you the year are the ones farthest to the right. This will give you some insight to how old your motor is.

You are limitless with a Gs-R buddy so pick what you want to do and I'm sure C-I will be here to help you the rest of the way.

Remember if it's a JDM motor it will be a B18C with no number after. If your block plate says B18C1 then its a USDM Gs-R motor and not JDM.

I know for a fact it is a JDM GSR swap. It came straight out of a Jap car, with Jap vin numbers and everything. So it is a real JDM GSR, thats was my first favorite thing about it. My second was its a 93, but its very clean body. No rust damage. It has some miles on the body, but only like 50-60,000 on engine. I basically wanna build the engine up over some time.

Cosmetic can always come later. I have garage to store it in, so I'm not so worried on it trying to be stolen. We have alot of people whom flat bed around here, so I have to keep it away alot.
