93 integra, Battery Hold Down Pics...

Hello everyone,

I've got everything on my DA fixed except for an exhaust leak at the cat and this damnable battery hold down. These are the only two things I have left before I'm ready to take the car for inspection.

I went to Crazy Rays junkyard this saturday and got all the battery parts out of a 2nd gen I saw in there, but I can't figure out for the life of me how the heck I'm supposed to use any of the parts. I would bet my kidney that parts are missing, so can anyone post pics of how they have their batteries held down?

I went to autozone and bought a "battery hold down" kit but the little metal hooks that lock into the battery pan are too short. Can't return it since i shredded the packaging after the crap from the yard didn't work.

*grrr*

I was shooting for something like this....of course, with the long-arms hooking into the baseplate.

Can anyone post pics of how they have their battery secured? I really need to get thing past inspection ASAP. If I can't come up with something they're gonna fail me for sure.

i want to buy a smaller battery, like in a DC and relocate on the fire wall...i'm thinking about just throwing it in the trunk

Hell, right now it seems like this may be the best and cheapest option...

I've got plenty of "Click-it" tie straps at the house from my guitar gear.
