92 gsr, good deal?

Hello everyone a week ago i came across a guy that was selling this car with rebuilt b17a1 megan headers,B&M short shifter, skunk2 coils , kyb shocks,new clutch, windsheild, just installed EnKei 17's rs6 rims,ijwn cold air, NGK Wires and plugs, and much more im sure i missed, good deal for $2,500 ?

You didn't miss out on that car for $2500. That thing is hideously riced out.
Is it even a real GSR? What's the Vin?

Well is blah blah db2 blah blah 0001421 or something like that firewall matches , anyhow the plans are to take it back to white or put it black repaint the dash back black try to bring it back org. with a few mods

It's a real GSR, There isn't a 3rd brake light in the window... It needs some de-ricing, I guess it's a pretty good pick up but I wouldn't of paid over $2000 for it.

Paint it back to white, White DB2s are the one of the rarer ones because it was a USA exclusive color (Canada got a "exclusive" black GSR [we didn't get black GSRs, just red, white and green])... It needs new wheels too (those are to big and ugly in style), megan isn't a good brand so eventually i'd change out the header too. Put everything in the interior back to black... Put on some stock mirrors and clean up that engine bay and it'll look sweet.

I mean, any used car you get you are probably going to have to plan on doing some work and changing some things to your liking more if you think about it. I wouldn't blame you if you picked it up, especially if you could get him down even a little on the price. I paid $1000 for mine, but it was a real POS when I got it and I had to put a bunch into it to get it even where it is now.

Super ricy. But like db1 said, do white, and restore that beauty to factory, whoever had it before I'm sure had good intentions, but went too far, someone painted the shit out of my interior, it matches your exterior, blue and white everywhere, sad day.....

Well I noticed all the cues for it to be a real GSR are there, but I've seen people swap over the Vtec fender moldings, the entire hatch, etc.

I agree with you though, it needs de-ricing and stock mirrors.

That's a decent little project. Hopefully he did the rebuild well and you're set for quite some time. A lil much for it, but if you get it under $2k you should do ok with it

i want a gen2 gsr. if it says db on the vin, take that shit, all it needs is paint, rims and some other parts that is a good ass deal ohh and change the muffler tip too. lol

Well i started the rebuild back to close to stock took all decals on windows, started taking dash out to repaint gauge panel back to black, me and wife have chose to repaint black, little list of things i need spark plug wire cover, rear hatch struts might buy new but if anyone has extras would love to buy, and does anyone know the best exhaust the will not give it a loud tone but kinda sporty. also any ideas are welcome

Also the rebuild seem s very nice good running motor b17a1, I do mechanic work but undesided to rebuild with b16 pistons and so on or to just leave it, or rebuild it so i know whats done and put it stock
